We started the day at about 9am with the four of us (Me, Mom, Dad, Sis) opening our stockings. It was a nice year for stockings. They were stuffed well and had lots of gift cards!
We then got dressed and went out for breakfast at Sheri's. Dad and I had our usual Belgian Waffle and I'm not sure what Mom & Sis had. Food wasn't great(but is it ever at Sheri's?) but the service was good.
We then headed back home and opened each others Gifts.
By then, it was time to put the Prime Rib on the fire (11am) and get ready for Dan & Family to arrive at noon.
At noon they show up and we open more gifts and then the Kids go down for a nap. Alice really needed the nap after all the dancing she was doing. Uncle Steve bought Brent a new piano to play and Ali just had a ball with it. Check out the video below. You'll notice Ali's a real natural on the piano, she sounds just like the Beach Boys... It's amazing! She can dance AND play the piano!!
We play Fluxx for the first time and LOVE it. It's a great game.
3PM Dad notices the fire went out on the BBQ... so meat is going to be late. Randy & Linda arrive in style!
Sometime between 3PM and 4PM we open more gifts with Randy & Linda & family.
4:30 PM we proceed to eat slowly and in courses while we wait for the prime rib which finishes up about 5PM or so.
We then spend the evening relaxing and playing games until everyone slowly drifts away.
To wrap up the night, Mom, Sis and I watch "Thou Shalt Laugh" a funny Christian comedy, and then head to bed after a crazy busy fun enjoyable bumpy Christmas day.
