At 6:00 AM Miss K gets Melinda & I to the Airport. As we show up we notice David N. beat us there. Slowly the group gathers and the pile of luggage grows. Soon enough everyone arrives and Pastor Dwight Custis leads us in prayer and we began the check-in process. I'd like to say it was a painless experience... but Pastor Will Custis woulnd't agree.
The Lord made sure all worked out and the next thing you know we're on the plane and enroute to San Francisco. THe plane is descending to SFO airport as I type this... so the next entry will either be from our layover or our final destination.
12 AM Local Time at Japan....
We're all here finally. It's been a long day and we're exhausted. I'm headed to bed.. below are some pictures of the day. I'll add comments and clean up things tomorrow. For now.. good night

Hi Melinda ...
How are you? I love you and miss you. Glad you made it to Japan OK. I can't wait to see you on August 18 @ Family Camp. Have fun in Japan. I am learning how to type on Mavis Beacon.
Have fun.
Love,
Annalise
PS. Dad's paraphrase ~ because he erased Annie's first message that she carefully typed for about 30 minutes ...one letter at a time :)
Looks like fun! 'Can't wait to hear all the stories!
