Red Shirts always die first?

Day two at family camp has come and gone. Overall it was a good day. God has blessed us all with great company, food, fellowship, and learning. The morning breakfast consisted of Pancakes, Fruit, and Ham.

In the kitchen today was Mathew, Randy, and Me.

In theory Jack was there to help too, but since he wasn't in uniform all he got to do was manage the Zoom.
Didn't you know that Family Camp Tuesday Morning Men Crew Uniform was a red shirt? Randy, Matthew and I did.

No one seemed to be running in fear that I was cooking them breakfast... which is just as well since my dad and I will be helping in the mornings all week long.

After breakfast we listened again to Dr. Boyd at 10AM. His series on the Tabernacle is just wonderful. At one point he had a couple of the boys up there to help him demonstrate something.

A view almost as good as the Huggins, only cooler.

In the above pictures you got a chance to see a few brief moments of the volley ball games that were played. There are three camp teams: Yellow, Red, and Blue(my team). In the volley ball tournement - the team game for Tuesday - the Yellow team won. However, the Raging C's (blue team) made them earn it. The Raging-C's only lost at the very end. It is my speculation that it was due to exhaustion... every other team was able to cycle players throughout the games, whereas the Raging C's had no extra players to sub in. Therefore taking the exhaustion into account along with the fact that the Raging C's were undefeated until the final 2 games leads me to believe that were the teams not allowed to switch fresh players the final score may have been different. But this is just one humble mans absolutely non-biased opinion. (Want to buy some beach front property in Utah?)

After the volley ball games my dad and I decided to go get the bikes... rain or not. (It did in fact rain). We searched high and low for anyone who might want to go on a motorcycle ride with us... and we were FINALLY able to convince Ellen and Kaitlyn to go after a LOT of convincing.

As you can see, Kaitlyn wasn't too eager for a bike ride.

That's right Ellen... We had the best bike and you were on the SECOND best.
